Touch Pro and got the latest version forced down my throat.  Just like for years I only had the choice to purchase a computer with Vista instead of XP I can't even roll back this garbage Bing back to Live Search.

Here is a small list of things that Microsoft has totally screwed up with this forced release.

Movies:   In Live search when you searched for movies you would get a two tab list.  On one tab was all the movies in your general area with all the details for each when selected the movie.  The second tab was all the theaters where you could select each one and get the list of movies and times.  All this was right in the app.

Bing screwed this up royally because now you get this tiny list of whatever 5 movies probably pay Bing ad fees.  If you want more details you then have to go online to get them on MSN.  Slow and sloppy and difficult to navigate.

Finding Stuff:  Pretty much impossible now.  With Live Search it was so easy.  If I had my location set to my home address and I searched for Home Depot I would get a list of Home Depots and maybe some other items that had home or depot in the name.  If I did this in Map view I would get all these in the map area.

Bing Screwed this up because again you go online and get all the dumbest BING results from the online engine.  Nothing to do with where you are now.

GPS: Live search worked with my built in GPS and now Bing does not.  For some reason when I use the GPS to find my current location it works OK, but when I go to navigate it keeps telling me “Finding GPS”

When going through the options the screen does not update.  For example you have a choice of 10 gps ports.  When you cycle through maybe two or three of them the screen does not refresh so it looks like your not doing anything.  This happens on many screens.

Using Bing for some reason keeps putting my phone into Airplane mode turning off the phone and data plan as well.

In Live search if you wanted to search through your contacts it was type and go.  Now that is Gone!  You have to keep scrolling page by page to select one of your contacts out of the list.

MS totally turned something that was really pretty good into the biggest pile of trash.

Here's the old app (you'll have to be a member of ppcgeeks to see the download, but it's free) http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showpost.php?p=187823&postcount=3

I still have the old LiveSearch and Previous Bing that did not have this new interface or features missing, however after a minute of using it I get a prompt telling me that this version does not work with my phone.  I then have a choice to download the latest, but if I say no, the program closes.

Is there a hack or something that keeps either LiveSearch or the first Bing from checking for updates.  Both still work fine because they work long enough for me to get all the info I was checking for, but after it is online for a minute or two I get the forced shutdown or upgrade notice.
