Sprint TP

I'm still in shock. In disbelief. They must be kidding or they are leaving out something mighty important, right?

I posted here over & over that I was die-hard WM. Never another OS. I got mad at the Sprint reps for wanting to sell me an Android, when I asked for a WM phone. Now THIS!!!! WM is not WM any more.

I want a PC in my pocket! One that I can customize & wreck to my heart's desire. I don't want a smart phone, or a tinker toy. It doesn't even have to be pretty. But I need a PC in my pocket.

With all the hype, I was expecting something awesome:
I actually expected that the future ppc would be able to carry and operate the SAME apps I have on my regular future PC. Maybe with a few options limited, but able to completely sync relevant info back & forth etc.

I feel like a husband who's wife decided to have a gender change instead of the b00b job she promised. I stuck with WM for many good & bad years and when they said something big and wonderful was around the corner, I didn't expect THIS - whatever they call it now.

I will stick with my WM6.xx until it falls apart. Then I might give WP a try, if they're still around. I will equally entertain Android & iPhone to see which one gives me the least amount of pain.

And I will hold out for the SIM card that carries not just my contacts, but my WHOLE OS, customizations & all: http://www.engadget.com/2010/02/17/s...torage-and-os/

Agreed! Even though WP7 looks interesting, and modern.. I don't think that it'll be very user friendly.

But Windows has said that they now are trying to reach a bigger audience with this new WP7, they are not going to go for buisness phones anymore but want everyone to but a WP!

I was also quite disapointed when Photon (see link below) never saw daylight.
