Help me like my phone please

i am an unhappy htc user. only owned phone 5 weeks & from day 1 had following issues .. first off i cant get the thing to sync with outlook, next while starting to type in text mode it amazingly starts to search for contacts .. the text screen loves to disappear & go back to home screen ... when i slide my phone open it loves to start calling ppl .. the screen loves to become uncentered .. the text has a disgusting delay in which im generally 3 words past what is shown & i sometimes wonder wtf i even wrote lol .. the text size re-adjusting itself ive come to terms with as i can easily re-adjust ... links dont like to be clicked as multiple taps are required to go to page ... the list goes on ...... but here we go .. never dropped the thing i treat it like its the most precious thing on earth & a nice chip of plastic is missing just next to the volume up button .. obviously its the effect of sliding my phone, which last i checked was designed to slide .. gonna cost me 50 bux through insurance .. like wtf ? anyway im sorry to burden you all with my htc issues but i paid a nice penny for it as im sure alot of u did .... but i will come clean .. i took it down to the folks at sprint few hours ago & they were able to upgrade the software .. phone working alot better .. better then when i first got it .. however  .. b4 my service i had the microsoft.net framework & advanced config tool or w/e installed & settings changed on the phone that were supposed to speed it up, didnt notice a dif. but if i reinstall these will i notice a dif now that my phone is seeming to be ok & responsive ?? also any links anyone wants to throw out there to help me learn more about advanced features id be much obliged .. again sorry for getting this all out at u in 1 thread.    

thanks i will check it out ... phones back to lagging when entering text lol .. & few other small things . only thing ppl at sprint know how to say is "do u know about the task mangager" . but again thanks

Click the icon in the TOP RIGHT of screen on HOME screen view to make sure you close out background programs that may be running.  This can help speed phone.

Sorry to see you go, but having a phone that frustrates you is like being in a bad relationship. Sometimes it's good to move on.

If you're not happy with the Android, check out the TP2. It's WM, but it's quite amazing!
