Does anyone know if it's possible to use a midi file for an alarm?

I made a midi file of "message in a bottle" by the Police to use for text messages.  The file appears in the ring tone dialogue but when you go to set the alarm for incoming messages, it does not.  Only the stock sounds appear.

Thanks,
ned.

See if this works: Find your file with File Explorer, copy it & paste it directly into your Windows folder. Now it should show up as an option for your alarm.
