Hey everyone.  Just got my Verizon Touch Pro on Monday.  I had a basic flip phone until July and then bought the iPhone but then returned it mainly because AT&T's reception in my area is not very good. I never really had a chance to play around with it too much.  Then I waited until Nov. 21st and bought the Storm and initially thought I really liked it but ultimately could not deal with the keyboard so I returned that and went with the Touch Pro.  I will add that I was a big PPC user from the past but just not with a built in phone.  My initial feeling are that this device is fantastic and I miss using a PPC device.  That being said, I fully charged it and unplugged it yesterday morning.  I really did not use it at all during the day, maybe 2 txt messages.  I am not running Touch3D and had been sure that there were no programs running in the background.  At about 4PM the battery died.  8hrs with no use?  Yikes, that's a probably.  So, I turned off GPS and even thought I don't yet have any mail setup I turned off push mail.  I charged it again last night and started this morning at 8 again.  It's 10:15 and I still have 4 bars so that's good.  Bottom line, I need to get through the day with minimal usage.  If I checked a web site, sent and email or two and made a quick 5 minute call or two I would need to start at 8 and get through till about 11PM.  Does that sound realistic with this device based on other experiences?  Maybe I can turn other things off?  WiFi and Bluetooth are already off.

Anyway, so far I do love the device and hope that I can get this battery issue sorted out.

Thanks and good to join this forum,
Tbone
