I just starting using the Touch Pro and I've been blindsighted by numerous problems.
My major issue is that while I'm on a call (not using speaker phone or bluetooth), apps appear on my screen, such as the Calculator   Active Sync  Setting Time (Foreign Zone)  Start menu etc.    By the time I turn off these apps, I've lost the opportunity to use my dial pad to enter a prompt in my voice mail or someone else's voice mail. 
Is my ear activating these apps?  How do I avoid this without making every cell phone call with the speaker phone activated on on a headset?

Hi Tom,
Welcome to the forum.

Normally, your screen is supposed to turn off when you have it near your ear. Otherwise, it WILL activate all sorts of apps while being in contact with your ear.

I could try and find the regristry setting to double check it's settings if you need that.

Other than that, there are some apps you can download to let you control how your phone behaves during a call.

One is this:

Just received my touch pro2 and I must say it's great, but you need a class to learn how to use it, Ha Ha. I had another windows mobile device before but this is a Cadillac, the others were maybe a Pontiac.  Waiting for the 6.5 update I hope it comes soon.  Oh one other important thing my Touch Pro2 was free, a deal thru T-mobile.  momb70 Kiss
