I am Kusalima and I am new! I've come here for information and help. When I moved to he HTC fro the Nokia some time ago, I moved to get ahead of the curve. Now, I'm not sure. My most recent problem, renders the phone useless. I can't hear phone conversations unless I put on the speaker phone.  Sad Not quite what I want. Any suggestions to remedy this?

Hello and welcome to the forum.

This sounds like a hardware problems. You should go back to the store where you bought it and ask them for help with this, as it should be covered by the warranty.

Thanks for the response. The phone is out of warranty. I was hoping it is a setting issue.

Couple of questions:

1. Are you experiencing this currently on your HTC Touch Pro?
2. Which carrier are you on?
3. Which ROM is currently on your phone? (See in your settings to see ROM information if you don't know - if you do: you might have flashed to a new ROM on the phone, which one?)
4. When are you experiencing this?
5. Do you have anything plugged into the phone when experiencing this? Like a headset, or something in the mini-USB port.
6. Have you tried a Hard Reset of the phone?

Please answer these questions so that I can help you further.
