So what apps are you all using for GPS? I just got Google maps set up on mine and I haven't gone far but it seems that the redrawing is going to suck. Plus, it's killing my battery life. I've heard a bit about the TomTom app but, I'd like to see if anyone has had success with anything else.

I have TomTom 6 on my TouchPro.  It needs me to reconfigure the TomTom GPS receivereach time I use it and I have had to experiment with the baud rate.  The biggest problem has been the time taken to find satellites.  It can take several minutes - much longer than my TomTom 910.
Once it is working, it works well, but hammers the battery

I use iGuidance and have had no problems with the software.  The settings that I used are COM port 4 with a baud rate of 4800.  I have been using it everyday for about a month and find it extremly accurate.  The entire US and Canada maps take up 2 gb of microSD memory, but with an 8 or 16 gb HC card, you will still have plenty of memory.
