Can anyone help me with a quick way to save in Word Mobile? Ctrl+S doesn't work. I have to save regularly and "menu/scroll/scroll again (I'm in landscape!)/File/Save As/Save/Yes" is really become a pain! Does anyone know of a tweak or a workaround?
Cheeers.

Closing the app will save it, By either clicking the "ok" button or the back hardware button.

Other than that, there are really no shortcuts for it. I usually use the d-pad: Menu, then click "up" twice, hit "enter" and down to save as.

Thanks.
But saving by closing means I then have to open it again, which is also not terribly practical. I'm only saving often because I'm nervous of losing data if I have to unexpectedly soft reset. Maybe I should just get a tougher skin and stop worrying!

Sounds like a plan to me

Saving a document

"To save and close a document, click the OK button in the top right corner. When you close a newly created document, it is automatically named after the first several words in the document and placed in the Word Mobile document list. (The document list is the default view when no document is open.) You can easily rename the document with a more meaningful name and move it to another folder or a storage card by tapping and holding on the file in the document list and selecting Rename/Move from the pop-up menu."

Otherwise you will have to go the long way, by going;
"menu/scroll/scroll/File/Save As/Save/Yes"
