Hey guys,

has anyone come across or heard of a radio transmitter you can get for your Pro?  Sort of like the Ipod and Zunes have?  My Zune was stolen a while back so I've been in the process of getting a new Ipod or Zune.  But I'm thinking of just buying a big storage card for my Touch Pro and loading a bunch of my music on there.  But if the Touch Pro's aren't capable of radio transmitters then I don't see a reason to buy a big storage card and do the music on there...you know what I mean?  In which case I'll just end up buy an Ipod/Zune.  It just seems more convenient to have everything on ONE thing with all of your neeeeds.  Cool

If you don't already have one, look on ebay for a headphone adapter.  It turns the stock mini usb port into a 3.5mm headphone jack.  The buy an FM radio transmitter and you can set it to any radio station with static and listen to your tunes that way.

Wait wait but the FM radio transmitter...can it be plugged into a mini-usb slot? I have a radio transmitter for my Zune (the stolen one.)  But that plugs into the back of the zune slot thingy - not a headphone jack.  Are you saying there are FM transmitters that go into 3.5mm jacks?

Definitely.  Go to any electronics store and you'll find them.

This is the one I have and it works GREAT.

http://cgi.ebay.com/LCD-200-Channels-FM-Transmitter-Modulator-for-MP3-iPod_W0QQitemZ120332759400QQcmdZViewItemQQptZOther_MP3_Player_Accessories?hash=item120332759400&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14&_trkparms=72%3A1234|66%3A2|65%3A12|39%3A1|240%3A1308|301%3A0|293%3A1|294%3A50

Now make sure you find the radio station with the most static for best results.  I'm sure you know that though.

I just dont get it. The transmitter I got isnt working. it originally came with a USB adapter, whish I bought a second adaptor to change the usb into the mini USB that will fit my pro. When plugged in it doesnt work. Do I need to set something on my phone for the transmitter to pull my music files? do i need to play from windows media or the direct file itself? HELP!!!
