I messed up my screen protector which cam in the box. It slipped out of my hands and onto the floor. Now there is a ton of lint/debris on the sticky side.  Angry

Has anyone bought the phantom skinz and is it an exact fit?  Also how is the texture (is it smooth like the one from the box or is it matted?

If you're looking just to protect the screen, then get a screen protector for the Nintendo DS.  The protector for the small screen of the DS works awesome for the screen of the Touch Pro.  And they are a good price compared to others.

I liked the one that came with my phone. It has a cut-out for the speaker. When I put mine on, one side did not adhere and let debris and dust under, also caught on my pocket.

I took it off, washed it with warm water and dish soap. I shook most of the water off and then put it back on the phone. There were some milky spots from water bubbles, but after two days they had evaporated and the thing is like new.

Worked for me!

thanks for the tips. I tired the warm water and dish soap but the debris are still on the screen protector. I guess I will try to one for Nintendo DS.

You can buy a screen protector here:

http://www.boxwave.com/products/easyfinder/buy-best-htc-touch-pro-accessories_3260.htm

The above link is for a GSM version of the phone; there's also one for a CDMA version. Just do a search on the site.

I received my screen protector in the mail for my HTC Touch this week. Ordered it on a Saturday and received it in the mail the following Friday.

I've been using the protectors I bought from www.thepocketsolution.com for my old ppc-6700, and they work great. They only cover the display, since they're made for the 6700 which had a recessed screen. but they last a long time, and they come with a little plastic squeegee that gets rid of bubbles. definitely worth a try, IMO

Warning,

I bought 2 screen protectors from a place called "Protectors Gone Wild." The have a tricky installation that makes them fit nice, tight and clear. Problem is they are very rubbery making your stylus sort of stick to the protector. Would be a great protector for a non-touch screen, but definitely not for a Touch Pro.

 Embarrassed

Here I am calling myself an idiot. I was right that the Protectors Gone Wild protector was rubbery and "grippy." Finally, I got rid of it and went to the old style (Boxwave). Weird thing is, now I miss my PGX protector. The Boxwave seems to be too slick.

I guess the saying, you don't know what you got til it's gone, is true.

Shamefull, i am buying a new PGW protector.
