On my touch pro everytime I send a text I get a notification that the message was sent it is becoming to be annoying. Can I tweak the registry to fix this. I recently had the mogul and the update rom fixed this problem, I don't understand why htc carried this problem over to the touch pro? And the volume should be better. I raise the volume high and it sounds average and same with the speaker. I have 30 days to return so if I can't get some of the kinks out back in the box it goes.

mine does not do this.
This may be the setting you want --> go to Messages (the one by opening the slide out keyboard) - Menu - Tools - Options - tap the * SMS \ MMS account - untick "Request delivery notification"
this setting can also be accessed by going to the TouchFLO3D messages - Tap the new message icon - Menu - Message options.
this setting can also be accessed by going - Start - Messaging - Menu - Options - Tap the * SMS \ MMS account
also I noticed under sound notifications there is no event for sms sent but there is one for mms sent which is unticked for me.

mine was a parallel import, not from sprint, I am using a vodaphone pre-pay sim in it.
versions as follows ROM 1.90.00.00 Radio 1.02.25.19 Protocol 52.33.25.17U
CE OS 5.2.19965.1.2.3
I am looking into firware updates atm, nothing on the HTC site under support at this stage

Or you could use Advanced Configuration Tool to change the text message settings as well as a slew of others.
