Like so:

Phone number delete:
Push the phone hw button.
Tap "Menu", select "History".
Highlight the phone call you want to delete.
Tap "Menu/Delete"

or

From Call History, tap "Menu".
Tap the last phone call from a person.
Tap "Menu/Delete Call - Delete all Calls"

Text Messages:

From the SMS Tab, tap "All Messages".
Highlight the sender you want to delete.
Tap Menu/Delete all messages from that sender.

or

From the SMS Tab, tap "All Messages".
Tap the sender with the message you want to delete.
With the d-pad, highlight the single message you want to delete.
Tap Menu/Delete.

Don't forget to "empty deleted items". If you can't be good, be thourogh, LOL!

om goodness. I hope you had your messages backed up?

I just tried it on my phone, had not problems deleting just one sender's texts.
(Inbox view / highlight conversation/ Menu/ Delete)

It deleted only the SMSs I wanted.

Sorry to hear about the mishap Sad
