I have had my touch pro for about 3 weeks now and struggling with a couple things.

- Playlists....these seem really cumbersome and I find my music difficult to manage, is it better using a 3rd party app (Win Media PLayer or other), I can't for the life of me figure out how to DELETE a playlist? Even adding songs is difficult

- Movies ... I copied a large movie of about 700mb onto the device but it wont play, and just gives a generic error....? Again ? 3rd party tool or codecs needed?

- had another question but cant remember now Sad

I've read that windows media player works better with large libraries than the touch flo3D player.

That's a pretty large video file for a phone. I would convert it to a format more suitable for a mobile phone.

Still... not a full on computer so this is to be expected.

Go to the XDA develepor's forum and look up the discussions for the Raphael phone. (that's the code name for out Touch Pro).  There is some excellent advice for getting the best out of this phone.

Coreplayer 1.2.5 plays my 700mb movies no worries on my HTC TP. Just made sure they've just got normal stereo sound and not AC3 or something like that.

Never heard of a SIS file.

You need a CAB (to install straight from device) or an EXE (to install via Active Sync from your desktop machine).

another option for the movies is to get Magic DVD Ripper. I use it to compress movies for my TP and Ipod. I put them in WMV and they play in the Mobile WIndows Media Player. Its cheap and works well.
