If any of your questions start with "How do I" or "Does anybody know," then maybe this is the section for you.

My phone is lagging and some of the cabs that I installed and have tried to delete won't go away so its taking up space so I want to do a hard reset. Now herein lies the problem. I have dashwire already so all of my contacts are there I just don't know how I would go about getting my information back on my phone after I hard reset. Do I just hard reset and then go to dashwire from my phone and sync and everything miraculously reappears? I have tried searching for this but I can't find anything about a hard reset other than one straight out of the box. So how do I get my contacts back on after a hard reset? I think I asked that like 3 times, I'm sorry. Smiley

Just do the hard reset.  After the phone reboots then re-install Dashwire.  After it is re-installed log into dashwire from the application and sync it.  Everything will re appear on your phone.

Well what do you mean by cab on your phone?  One that you have installed won't uninstall? Or an actual cab file you just want to delete?

Go to Start : Settings : System : Remove Programs : Find the program and highlight it and click remove.

The .net cab is an executable file you have to load through your computer via Active Sync.

Hook your phone up with your data cable to your PC.  Open Windows Mobile Device Center (Windows Vista) or Active Sync (Windows XP) and click on the .NET file.  Follow the instructions and it will load it to your phone.  Make sure Active Sync is also running on your phone.

I know that the TP2 uses a customized version of windows mobile to better integrate Touch Flo 3D.  Does anyone know how this will affect apps and registry hacks?  I am thinking that the core is still there, so it shouldn't change much.

P.S.  Touch Flo performs much better on the TP2!!!  This was probably the biggest disadvantage of the first TP.  And there is a landscape mode too.
