HTC tells us that there will come a new ROM at the end of february! If it will come to it's right time it's something else! But I think we can expect it in the next 1-2 months atleast now!

(NOTE! This is for unlocked GSM versions ONLY, Also it's for the European version!)

You can get it by doing the following!
Go to www.HTC.com-->Support-->Choose Product - Touch Pro-->Sortware Download-->HTC Touch Pro ROM update

any idea if this is for Sprint or VZW phones (or both)? ... any version #?

As from what I can see it actually looked like it was for ANY carriers, but then again I don't have a so good intelsight so, I don't know if this is for the European Version only and that updated ROM will be on the Sprint site /Verizon site etc.... Tongue hehe Sorry

Because I had a Norwegian version it was not avaliable for me!! :O DANG!!! AARRRGGHHH! :@ hehe

from what i saw on XDA, it looks like the update was for only non-carrier phones, aka GSM. so there isn't a new CDMA rom yet.. I could be wrong, but this is the impression I received.

I tried to download the new ROM and got the following error message: "Sorry, this software download is not suitable for your device." 

I live in the UAE, have a Touch Pro, and a ROM that predates the release date of this one - any idea why it won't work.

Don't know, but it might be because your language isn't supported YET! My Norwegian pro isn't supported YET, but will be in the end of this month! =D

Also it's JUST the European GSM version pros that will get this ROM! =D
