http://www.alltouchpro2.comThe only pitfall that I can see, is that you won't like the "improvements" they made to the software.
There are already a few upgrades (fixes) available for the UK phone:
http://www.htc.com/uk/supportdownloadlist.aspx?p_id=250&act=sd&cat=allIf you have done those, upgrading to 6.5 is no different. Just make sure you follow the instructions and your phone is charged and the installation is not interrupted.
The 6.5 upgrade won't be available until after October 6th. What you could do is wait a bit longer and see what others are posting about the new interface, before you take the plunge.
