Touch Pro and Touch Pro 2 battery interchangable

Hello All,

I have searched ,but no definite answer. Will a TP2 (1500 mah) battery fit into an TP (1340 mah) without purchasing a new back plate?
This is the U S Cellular/CDMA model.
I am wanting to purchase a couple off of Ebay and the seller claims they will interchange.
Of course any 'seller' will tell you want to hear,,,:-)

Hi,
I just looked at both batteries, and the TP2's battery is twice as long as the TP's battery.

They are not interchangable.
