First of all, this is my first phone that does more than text and make phone calls so please forgive my ignorance.

I just purchased a new Tmobile TP2 from a seller on ebay. The seller upgraded it to Win Mobile 6.5. This is what it says under "About" in the "system" screen: Windows Mobile 6.5 Professional CE OS 5.2.28004 (Build 28004.5.3.0). My learning curve is still kinda slow but I'm pretty sure this isn't normal. When I slide out my hard keyboard, the letters work but the alt and shift button are backwards. When I press the "alt" button, the "shift" light turns on and vice versa. But they don't do what they're supposed to. None of the secondary characters work with either combination of shift or alt (punctuations). Plus, the number row doesn't work. It just gives me symbols. The only way I can get numbers to appear while texting is to bring up the touch screen keyboard. Obviously, this isn't acceptable. I like the look of 6.5 but do I need to get it flashed back to 6.1 in order for the keyboard to work? The seller said he can flash it back to me and it should fix the keyboard problem but says I'll lose the apps he installed on the phone. Is there anything I can to to fix this problem? I've waited so long to get this phone and this is quite a dissappointment.
