How do I stop Messenger from opening after soft reset?

A couple weeks ago I thought I'd try the Messenger program out. Now when I soft reset it shows up even though I've removed the program. It is really annoying.

How do I get rid of it at startup?

Thanks for any help.

Go to Start : File Explorer

Click on the drop-down box and go to "My Device"

Then click on "Windows"

Scroll down and click on "StartUp"

Delete the file for the Messenger you want gone.

Close out and soft reset. See if that works for you.
