Well first off all, it's cheaper with Opera.
You see; Opera first sends the website to themselves, then they shrink it to a mini edition of the website. So you pay less for the data connection.

Also Opera loads the page much faster than IE, and is also able to use the webpage before it's fully loaded.

I'm running WinMo 6.5 and (I have no idea what) version of IE but 9.7Beta of Opera, and have noticed that IE is faster....maybe not the web pages themselves, but it takes Opera forever to load (and yes, I know the Opera 9?? was faster but still not as fast as IE)....

For me, it's all about preference...when I was new to these machines and didn't know how to change the default TF browser (and still don't  Embarrassed Angry), I got used to Opera...

I used the Search feature (top navigation bar) and it spit out quite a few topics.
