cant send sms

Hi everyone!! I am new here, I got my HTC Touch pro2 before a week or so. . I am currently living in Kuwait, they had 2 GSM network operators Zain & Wataniya. I had a line from Zain everything worked well. A new company named " Viva" however, emerged with incredible offers and I got to choose a number I really wanted. So I switched operators and discovered to my horror that the HTC touch_pro isn't compliant with the new company's settings!!! I can receive and make calls but I can't send an sms ! it keeps telling me " the phone is not ready wait 15 seconds and try again"

can anyone please help?

Is it set up for the operator?

Go to:
Start::Settings::Personal::Phone::Network
Check if the Current network is correct.

thats the thing everytime i try to check my phone setup it says the phone is not ready. wait 15 seconds and try again

Which SIM Card do you use? Did you get a new one when you bought the phone?
It might be the SIM Card that is outdated. (or not compatible)

After a little search:
"Oh, hey... I found our answer! (I hope your's too) Mine is being caused by a phone skin (cannot remember where I got it). It was called ETEN+Smartdialereng02.cab.
