of course the prices will be a bit lower when they get to the carriers

It will go down with the signing of a contract. I doubt the without contract price will change much.

You can get a fairly decent laptop for $750. The pricing on these phones doesn't match what you get.

I am soooo excited about this!!!!  I was going to buy the touch pro, but I will wait for the 2nd version to come out. 

By the way, without the contract, the Touch Pro 1 costs $750 too.  So with the contract the Touch Pro 2 should cost the same as the Touch Pro 1, $300.
