Emperor's new clothes type thing
People do claim the darndest things! And lately Apple has landed some whoppers, like claiming that jailbroken iPhones are a threat to national security and are mostly desired by drug dealers:

First - it's a load of crap. Second, it doesn't need an iphone to do some nifty unlocking.
And third, if there was the slightest chance that it's really the iphone that's so dangerous, I would say they should be banned from being sold and immediately recalled under the penalty of conspiring with intent to commit. (just kidding, but really....)
And I was never an apple hater - but now I find myself scratching my head in disbelief a lot.
