When I am trying to use WiFi only, I am unable to get a connection..The wireless icon shows connected, however, I cannot surf the web...

Pls help!!

When you go to Start : Settings : Connections Tab : WiFi does the network you are trying to connect to say connected or connecting?

the wifi states that it is connected, however, it is a low signal..the only way i can get to the internet is to use the data connection.

Hmm that's interesting.  The only thing I can recommend is a hard reset and if that doesn't work then you may have to bring it back to Sprint or a repair center

to exclude the weak signal as the source of the problem, maybe you could find a stronger wifi spot and test it out.
