Oh gosh. Well, there allways has to be something wrong with my phone. So, I have two questions.
First, the date on my phone is 1/1/2010, as it should be. But whenever i get a message it says 2016. Thats cool you know, everyones sending me messages from 6 years in the future. GOOD JOB FRIENDS. WAY TO TAKE ME TO THE FUTURE WITH YOU.

Anyway, Is there anyway to get the 'new voicemail' thing off the today screen? I DONT HAVE A VOICEMAIL LEAVE ME ALONE. I'm serous. i check it about 23987 times just to try and make it happy, but no. i have no messages.

Help?
Please and thank you. (:

Welcome to the board!

1: this seems to be a server related issue from the phone provider. Have the same thing happening:  http://www.alltouchpro.com/index.php?topic=1579.0

2: Go to
Settings / Personal / Phone / Services / Voicemail / Get Settings / Clear

I've got a whole bunch more there. Who's your cell service provider?

For Verizon I found two possible solutions:

go to phone, options, slide to cdma tab, click voicemail, then clear voicemail.

and:

dial *228, option 1
