First of all my service is with Verizon... but I recently switched from the Samsung Omnia (which I really liked) to the HTC TouchPro for the simple reason that the TouchPro has a physical keyboard and for the amount of texting/emailing I do on my phone it was getting very frustrating using the touch keyboard on the Omnia.

I absolutely love everything about the TouchPro except for a couple simple things. Mainly that when i'm typing on the physical keyboard I end up typing a sentence and then sitting there waiting for it to appear... Is this normal? I can definitly type pretty fast but it seems to defeat the purpose of a full keyboard if the phone can't keep up with what I would assume is a somewhat normal speed to type.

Other than that my only complaint is the battery life but obviously I use the phone quite a bit so i'm over that by now...

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated... I have a feeling this is normal because like I said I definitely type pretty fast but if there is any way to fix this problem I would LOOOOOVE to hear about it.

Thanks!

Hi, congrats to the new phone.

Yes, the keyboard lag has been discussed in the forum quite a bit.

See if the info we've got on the site will help you:
