what input are u doing it for? keyboard? Compact Qwerty?...full keypad?

don't you just hate it, when you hang up and wished you wrote it all down while they were talking to you....

Okay, let's try this to jog your memory:

I had this problem too. Here's the trick::

When you bring up the on-screen keyboard...make sure that it's on ABC and not on T9. If the little ball is slid over to the side where it says T9, change it to ABC and see if that works. I notice than when I used the Compact Qwerty and I have T9 on, it automatically turns on word completion. But when I use the keyboard, unless I turn T9 off on the on-screen keyboard, it will continue to try to complete my words for me.
