oh that's a bummer! This happened to me a while back and it corrupted a whole bunch of things on my computer - and there was no restore point to be saved.

I ended up saving all my stuff to an external hard drive and had to factory reset my computer.

ACK! Halloween is over Atomic - quit scaring the bejebus out of me!!! LOL

Is it possible to install AS on another computer, then copy the AS folder to a jump drive and replace the files on the main computer? I'm trying really hard to not have to reformat my hard drive and reinstall all my software.

When I think about it;
AS 4.5 is a new program. Try to install the newest .NET Framework on your computer.

(I think you must install the .NET F first then Service pack 1)

Try that.





AFTERWARDS!!!!!!! IF IT STILL DOES !NOT! WORK.
Try clearing all of your TEMP files on your computer.
You can do this by going on START then RUN - Type in "%TEMP%" without the "". Delete ALL the files there. (Their like garbage files and historics and so on... Nothing big deal really).

I will give it a try tonight; I thought I had .NET and everything else updated, but I'm willing to double check.
