I have seen on the Interent that you can load other roms on the phone and you need to get it into the mode I have now, but I was not attempting to do that at all.  Yet now I can't get my Verizon HTC Touch Pro to turn on without immediatly going showing the following white/red/green/blue/white screen:

----------------------
Security unlocked

RAPH500
SPL-03.35.0000
MicroP-Raph (LED) v8182
MicroP-Raph (KEY) v0682
PSIC-Raph STAGE_EVT v20
----------------------

I have tried to press the reset button but I just see a screen flash saying "Loading" and "No Image File"

The "no image file" means you didn't load or flash a ROM.  It looks like you have succesfully unlocked the phone if you see that screen, but you need to flash a custom ROM now (well you dont have to, but that's what the image file is).

So when you're in the 'tri-colored screen' you should be able to get out of it via soft reset.  but if you're trying to flash a custom ROM over, then you need to properly add the .nbh file when using the ROM Update Utility (RUU).

Let me know I can help you with this.

Thanks,

But even removing the battery and trying to start the phone gets me to this screen.  I don't want to flash anything.  I just want it to work normally.

I have tried the reset button on the bottom, but that did not help.

First off let me ask you, what were you trying to do in the first place if you weren't trying to flash a custom ROM?

Otherwise I believe you can fix all this via hard reset:

with the phone on -> hold the volume DOWN button and the ENTER button (the circle) -> then press the soft reset button with a stylus -> keep holding the volume DOWN and ENTER button until you see a message

If you don't want to hard reset or the hard reset isn't fixing the problem then I still have one more solution for you so let me know.

It appears that the battery must have been defective because after letting it sit a day it would start and appear to charge, but then the battery would die within a couple of hours on a "full" charge.  Once it drained I would get the same error again.

Verizon sent me a brand new phone (Only because they did not have the "Like New" in stock) and the phone worked with the new battery.  If I put the old battery back in, then it would go right into the ROM loading screen.

I am keeping the new phone because my old one had a couple of scratches on it anyway.

Yeaah that sounds nuts.  Battery must of have some serious issues.  Good to hear you're all set though.
