If I wasn't on NRG I would probably be excited. Sounds good for you stock-ROM'ers though

The rom does update somethings but it's not a complete update. There are still a few bugs htc has created or not fixed. One is the camera autofocus issue. I can't really find a fix for that. The second is the text messaging issue. A fix for thats been found too. The next one is the tethering issue which still has not been addressed. I don't think anyone is gonna find their way around it without halfway destroying the phone because of the complication.

you're right - they did a mighty skinny job there. Not only that - they had this update for a very long time (see Diamond update), but just now released it.

About the tethering though: Since Sprint does not want you to tether without their specific plan for it, you'll never get an official fix for that.

I for one like the slide to answer thing after the update, but I have found an annoying feature of this update, or maybe it's a setting that I have reset.

when deleting stuff in my email, I used to be able to slide and select a bunch of emails and suddenly I can't do it anymore,,,,thoughts?

I did this ROM upgrade today, it went OK.  I hate the fact that a ROM upgrade wipes the whole system, what a PITA.  After the upgrade, the first bootup took a long time, and it ran a utility and rebooted again.  I'm interested to see if the device runs any better, there were definitely some annoyances with the v1.2 ROM I had.
