My HTC will not roam to save its life. I've got cellular boosters for two competing companies in my building but I cannot make a roaming phone call to save my life.
If the sprint bar blips for a half second every minute, the phone won't roam. I need software hack that wiill allow me to set the phone to "Roam Only"
Any help appreciated.

The office building I work in installed boosters for Verizon and ATT phones and my Sprint signal has dropped to 1 intermittent bar. There is not enough signal to hold a phone call, in fact I cannot even connect most of the time but there's just enough that the HTC will not choose roaming when set to "Automatic Roaming"
I need some sort of software hack that wiill allow me to set the phone to "Roam Only" or I can no longer make phone calls from my office.
Any help appreciated.

Need a hack to set the phone to roam only and ignore the primary carrier signal.
90% of the time I need to roam when my primary signal is too weak to hold a call but not totally noexistant. The HTC will not roam unless it detects more than a minute or two with absolutely zero signal.
So, I need a way to either force it to roam or to adjust the criteria it uses to choose automatic roaming.

BTW, this is so frustrating that I'm willing to pay for the hack. $25 on e-bay if it works.

Try this; Start::Settings::Personal::Phone::_Band_::^Select your network type^ ^Selest your GSM/UMTS band^.
_"text"_ = subfolder.
You can ask your service provider about these questions if in doubt.
Hope this helps.
(PS! My current are GSM and GSM(900+1800)+UMTS(2100) - Using a GSM Phone, Europe)

I know there is a .cab out there that will do this for you. I'm not sure where I saw it, or what it was called, but if I come across it before you do, I'll let you know.

The CDMA phone does not have a "Band" Dialogue in the phone settings. I find no way to choose a different band under any of the dialogues in the phone settigings.
