Browser update for Touch Pro?

I am now getting the message:  " Scripting Alert...the browser you are using is too old...please upgrade to the latest version of your browser" I write to inquire if anyone else has gotten this message.  Issue was posted the the 'Microsoft Answers" forum.  Response was that there is no update for the browser.  Guidance sought on how I can determine what version I have.

Additionally, I would inquire if there is a windows mobile download for adobe flash and microsoft silverlight.
