(August 3, 2009) Merdins Windows Mobile Pro v5.1 ROM

I haven't gotten a chance to completely explore it, but he does have a new ROM which includes WM6.5 Titanium.  And I love that.  He's got PLENTY of goodies though.  I'll give you a nice review once I get a new phone.  Sprint's sending me another one.

Merdinh you're the man.  This ROM is great.  It's clean and stable.  And no, I don't mean clean by barely any applications, it's LOADED with apps.  The best part to me is the battery improvement.  That combined with the use of the cleanRAM application makes this thing last for days (not literally.) 

There are only 2 things I don't like and this may be a personal preference. 

I don't like your start menu.  It's a WM 6.5 start menu with honeycombs installed which is fine, but I find it unorganized.  Just to compare, Energy's ROM's start menu was fully organized with I think 6 folders with classifications of what was inside each folder (ie internet, settings, games, etc.)  I tried re organizing it myself via RescoExp/File Exp but I ran into some problems because the programs moving around said they wouldn't function properly.

Also (and I'm sure this is a personal preference) I didn't like the TFL3D icons.  They're kind of childish and too glitzy.  I like a strait forward black, clean, look.

Otherwise I love it, you totally killed it.  Good work.
 

In performance; it blows Energy out of the water.  SO I would prefer Merdinhs just because of that.

Sorry bud, i would do it, but since i have no gsm touch pro i cannot get the phones image, and have no way to test out the roms and work out bugs.
